Application for single storey front and side extensions.

This application had been deferred at the request of the applicant at the April meeting of Planning Sub-Committee No. 1 to negotiate a better design. The Director of Planning and Building Control reported that the amended scheme was much more in scale and harmony with the existing house, and now included a rear conservatory.

The neighbour did not object, subject to erection of a two metre boundary fence. The recommendation of the Director of Planning and Building Control was for approval, subject to a two metre boundary fence in the critical zone, but reducing in height towards the road frontage.

RESOLVED

That planning permission be granted to application W16803, subject to boundary fencing.
