Application for change of use of first floor from storage to tea rooms and gallery, minor alterations to ground floor and creation of patio.

The Director of Planning and Building Control reported that this application was acceptable in principle subject to provision of adequate facilities for disabled people. It would also make better use of the building, being part of the Heritage Trail.

It was also reported that the applicant had omitted to serve notice on some of the surrounding neighbours, and the Director of Planning and Building Control therefore recommended deferral to the next meeting.

RESOLVED

That consideration of application W12142/2 be deferred for neighbour consultations.
