V25-33 : W13802/3 THE OLD CREAMERY, ANGEL LINK, OFF THOROUGHFARE, HALESWORTH

This item which arose from the previous minutes was considered as a matter of urgency, under the statutory provision accorded to the Chairman, as a written request had been received from the applicants to revise the application.

The Director of Planning and Building Control reminded members that this application had been approved at the last meeting, subject to car parking arrangements and the withholding of consent until details of the re-development contract were let. The applicants now wished to revise the scheme to create two retail units on the ground floor. The right unit would have no service delivery arrangements and would use the car park.

The Sub-Committee had a number of concerns with this proposal and were not prepared to make a decision until detailed plans had been submitted for consideration.

RESOLVED

That the applicant of application W13802/3 be informed that detailed plans should be submitted in order for the Sub-Committee to consider the proposal to create two retail units.
