Application for lifeboat station.

Outline permission had been given in June 1997 for refurbishment of the Yacht Station, and details were now available concerning the RNLI Lifeboat Station. The Director of Planning and Building Control reported that the roof of the station, which was constructed in aluminium sheeting, would oxidise within one month to become a dull matt grey. He recommended approval, subject to details being submitted as to where personnel would park.

RESOLVED

That planning permission be granted to application W14272/5, subject to satisfactory car parking details.
