Application for toilets and club use of patio area.

The Director of Planning and Building Control reported that this proposal was similar to one considered in 1994, when members were not prepared to accept the club use of the patio area due to a history of disturbance to neighbours. These objections still seemed to apply, and the applicants were now asking for a 12 month trial period. The recommendation of the Director of Planning and Building Control was for refusal, although he had no objection to the toilet conversion.

RESOLVED

That planning permission be refused to application W16199/1, and that the Director of Planning and Building Control be given delegated authority to approve the toilet conversion to the site.
