V25-240 : HOMELESSNESS REVIEW BOARD

Members were asked to appoint the Homelessness Review Board for 1997/98, established at minute V24-368/9 to determine appeals against findings on homelessness.

The Policy and Resources Committee resolved that an independent Chairman be appointed to the Review Board.

RESOLVED

1. That Councillors Baker, Bostock, R. Carter, Jenkins, Jones, Punter and Whatrup be appointed to the Homelessness Review Board for 1997/98.

2. That Councillors Blowers, Cherry and Chipperfield be appointed as reserves to the Review Board for 1997/98.

2. That the Chief Executive, in consultation with the Chairman of the Committee and Leader of the Council, be authorised to appoint an independent Chairman to the Review Board for 1997/98.
