V25-227 : MEDICAL REPRESENTATION

This item was taken as urgent business, under the statutory provision accorded to the Chairman, as the issue needed swift resolution in view of the person's condition.

The Sub-Committee considered a case which the Medical Adviser, under the Medical Liaison Policy, had assessed as a 10 high for both medical and housing priority, and resolved that the case be re-assessed as a medical priority for suitable sheltered accommodation. The Director of Housing and Environmental Services was delegated to authorise the re-housing of a dependent, who was on the housing list, in due course. (Para. 3)
