V25-1619 : RE-APPLICATION FOR CHARTERMARK AWARDS 1998

FOOD TEAM AND DOG WARDEN SERVICE

The report of the Director of Housing and Environmental Services reminded members of the above successes in achieving Chartermark Awards in 1995. The awards were valid for three years and the services had now invited to re-apply.

Officers had considered applying for an Award for the entire Environmental Services Division, but it was felt the challenge of extending the application to the full Division should not be under- estimated.

RESOLVED

That re-application for Chartermark Awards by the Food and Safety Section and Dog Warden Service be approved.
