V25-1604 : RENEWAL OF PUBLIC ENTERTAINMENT LICENCE
THE THREE TUNS, BUNGAY
The report of the Chief Executive advised that objections had been received from Environmental Services to the renewal of the Public Entertainment Licence for The Three Tuns, Bungay due to numerous and consistent noise complaints during 1997. The complaints were justified, and substantial enough to serve notices under the Environmental Protection Act 1990. In order to try and resolve the complaints, the Licensee had given the manager notice to quit and he was no longer employed in or associated with the premises. Environmental Services would now not object to the issue of a Public Entertainment Licence for a period leading up to the end of June 1998. This would allow monitoring of the complaints and to ensure their resolution. RESOLVED
That renewal of the Public Entertainment Licence to The Three Tuns, Bungay be granted for a period leading up to the end of June 1998.
