V25-1603 : GRANT OF PROVISIONAL PUBLIC ENTERTAINMENT LICENCE
THE PIER TAVERN, SOUTH PIER, LOWESTOFT
The report of the Chief Executive concerned an application for a Provisional Public Entertainment Licence for The Pier Tavern, South Pier, Lowestoft. The hours requested were Monday to Saturday, 10.00am to 1.00am, Sundays 12 noon to 11.00pm. The reason for the application was to allow the applicants to apply for a Section 77 Special Hours Certificate for the late night sale of liquor. Environmental Health and the Police had no objection to the grant of a Provisional Licence. The Fire Service had inspected the premises and issued a Schedule of improvement works that would need completing prior to a full Licence being issued. RESOLVED
1. That a Provisional Public Entertainment Licence be granted for The Pier Tavern, South Pier, Lowestoft. 2. That the Chief Executive be given delegated authority to issue a Full Public Entertainment Licence once works are completed to the satisfaction of the consultees.
