V25-1586 : VACANCY - 26 ORCHARD VALLEY, HOLTON

This property had been void for 13 weeks and refused four times. The previous tenant had died, and the bungalow had been very neglected, and now required much work to return it to standard.

An elderly applicant was interested in the property, but had no relatives able to help him redecorate and the job was thought to be too big for Aid and Assist. Chairman's approval was therefore sought to order redecoration by Waveney Contract Services.

RECOMMENDATIONS

That the action of the Director of Housing and Environmental Services, in consultation with the Chairman, to order redecoration to 26 Orchard Valley, Holton be endorsed.
