V25-1570 : LOWESTOFT AND BECCLES SPRING FAIRS 1998
The report of the Director of Community Services considered the rent levels for John Thurston & Son Ltd to hold the Lowestoft Spring Fair on the usual site at North Denes, and the Beccles Spring Fair at The Quay for five days in April and May 1998. The applicant had requested that the rent remain at the 1997 level as ride prices had not increased for the past four years. RESOLVED
That the rent for the Lowestoft and Beccles Spring Fairs be fixed at £147.15 and £43.58 per day respectively, an increase of 5% on the 1997 level.
