V25-157 : STREET CLEANSING SERVICE - ANNUAL REPORT

The Committee considered the report of the Director of Community Services which outlined the performance of the Street Cleansing Service since January 1995.

The Planning and Transportation Committee also considered this issue at its meeting on 13 May 1997, and approved the recommendations.

RESOLVED

1. That the street cleansing service cover all play areas, target areas for leaf and blossom fall and litter picking of Basic Beach Zones for the current and future years.

2. That the employees in the Contracts Management Section, Community Services Department and Waveney Contract Services be congratulated on the standards of service provided.

*Affects the services of more than one Committee.
