V25-1563 : MINOR PROJECT CAPITAL GRANT - HOMERSFIELD PLAYGROUND

The report of the Director Community Services detailed an application from Homersfield Parish Council for a grant from the Minor Projects Capital Fund towards updating the play equipment on Homersfield Playing Field, which did not meet British Standard safety requirements. New fencing would also make the playing fields safer.

The total estimated cost of the work was £16,983 of which 25% was being sought from this Council.

RESOLVED

That a grant of up to £4,245 be made available from the Minor Projects Capital Fund to Homersfield Parish Council towards the scheme to update play provision for that Community.
