V25-1561 : EASTERN SPORT SUBSCRIPTION

The report of the Director of Community Services outlined a request by Eastern Sport, of which the Chairman was the Council's representative, to consider a small subscription of £150 plus VAT, for 1998/99. The Sports Council had made it clear that they would no longer ask authorities for a £100 contribution towards regional printing costs.

Suffolk Sport, of which Councillor Kelly was currently Chairman, had also asked for an annual contribution of £50 plus VAT, towards their administrative costs.

RESOLVED

1. That a subscription of £150 plus VAT be made to Eastern Sport for 1998/99, to be met from existing budgets.

2. That a contribution of £50 plus VAT be made to Suffolk Sport for 1998/99, to be met from existing budgets.
