V25-1553 : CYCLING ON SOUTH LOWESTOFT SEAFRONT
The report of the Director of Community Services concerned the promotion of cycling on the Esplanade by advertising a Traffic Regulation Order to determine the level of public support. The Planning and Transportation Committee also considered this report at its meeting on 3 March 1998 from the point of view of highways and traffic management, and approved the recommendation. RESOLVED
That because of the potential benefit to recreation and tourism, the making of a Traffic Regulation Order allowing cycling on the Esplanade between Royal Plain and Claremont Road and on the upper Esplanade between Claremont Road and Kensington Road be supported. *Affects the Services of more than one Committee
