V25-1539 : CYCLING ON SOUTH LOWESTOFT SEAFRONT

The report of the Director of Community Services reviewed the introduction of cycling on the Esplanade. It was proposed that a Traffic Regulation Order be advertised to determine the level of public support and any objections reported to Committee.

The Community Services Committee was to consider this report at its meeting on 5 March 1998, in respect of the recreational and tourism aspects.

RESOLVED

That a Traffic Regulation Order be advertised allowing cycling on the Esplanade between the Royal Plain and Claremont Road and on the Upper Esplanade between Claremont Toad and Kensington Road.
