V25-15 : MARIE JEMIMA PIPE CHARITY - GRANT APPLICATION

The Trustees considered a request from the Royal National Mission for Deep Sea Fisherman for assistance towards the mobility costs of an ex Lowestoft fisherman.

The applicant having suffered from a serious illness intended to purchase a second hand electric wheelchair at the cost of £1,900, and replace the family car with one which was able to take a wheelchair at an estimated cost of £800. The grant application was sought to help finance the change of car.

The Trustees having examined the charity accounts approved the application.

RESOLVED

That a grant of £400 be awarded to the applicant.
