Application for change of use from warehouse/storage to industrial use. The Director of Planning and Building Control reported that this application was for change of use to the manufacture and testing of foghorn signal diaphragms. Residents of the High Street had expressed concern at possible noise problems, however the Director of Housing and Environmental Services was confident that noise could be attenuated. The recommendation of the Director was for approval subject to soundproofing to standard as advised by the Director of Housing and Environmental Services. RESOLVED
That planning permission be granted to application W780/6, subject to soundproofing to standard as advised by the Director of Housing and Environmental Services.
