These applications were considered together as they referred to the same site. The Director of Planning and Building Control reported that most of the signs were acceptable and to a scale implicit in the approval of this development. However, the roof signs would be large and dominant from all sides.

Negotiations had taken place which had resulted in an agreement that the roof signs would not be illuminated, and the Director recommended approval to all the applications subject to the non- illumination of the roof signs.

RESOLVED

That planning permission be granted to applications A/W850, A/W850/1 and A/W850/2, subject to no illumination of the roof signs.
