10 CORTON LONG LANE, LOWESTOFT

The Director of Planning and Building Control reported that permission had been requested to remove an Oak tree covered by a Tree Preservation Order in the front garden of 10 Corton Long Lane, Lowestoft. The owner was concerned that its roots would interfere with the main sewer to the house, but the Chief Building Control Officer had advised that there was no evidence of any damage and there were no good reasons to remove this perfectly healthy tree.

RESOLVED

That consent to remove Oak Tree T6 in the schedule of Tree Preservation Order (No 188) 1994 at 10 Corton Long Lane, Lowestoft, should not be granted.
