V25-1455 : COMMUNICATIONS

(a) New Councillor

The Chairman of the Council welcomed Councillor J. Winterton to his first meeting of the Council following his success at the recent Gunton Ward by-election.

(b) Councillor M. Ayers

The Chairman of the Council read out a letter that the Chief Executive had received from Councillor Mike Ayers which thanked members for their kind wishes and informed them that he was well on the way to recovery and hoped to be back in the Council Chamber within two months.

(c) Civic Reception

The Chairman reminded Councillors about the Civic Reception planned for Sunday 5 April 1998 at St. Peters Hall, South Elmham, Bungay and asked members to inform the Chief Executive by no later than 16 March 1998 whether they would be attending or not.
