V25-1367 : HOUSING AND ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES MONITORING GROUP
The report of the Director of Housing and Environmental Services was considered as a matter or urgency, under the statutory provision accorded to the Chairman, as the progress report of the above Group had been compiled after the issue of the agenda. The Chairman of the Monitoring Group reported that the Group had identified areas of the services that they wished to initially pursue. These were: (i) Practise following the Pennington Report.
(ii) Renovation Grants - which had been pre-empted by a report to come to next Committee. (iii) Collection of Rent by the newly introduced 'Swipe Card' method. (iv) Improvement in the completion of targets.
(v) A desire for the attendance of two people on all call out duties. (vi) Update of Business Plans.
RESOLVED
That the progress of the Monitoring Group be noted with thanks.
