V25-1363 : PURCHASE OF GARAGES - KINGS ROAD, BUNGAY

The report of the Director of Housing and Environmental Services outlined a request to purchase a row of seven garages at Kings Road, Bungay, by an owner for the storage of vehicles for himself and his family.

There were eight empty garages in Kings Road which had proved difficult to let for a considerable period of time. The sale could be accommodated by relocating four tenants to other adjoining garages, therefore reserving a row of seven garages for the sale. The owner would be responsible for the entire structure of the garages and their maintenance, and it would be a requirement that the garages were only used for storing vehicles and not for the operation of a business.

RESOLVED

That the sale of seven garages at Kings Road, Bungay be approved, the price and conditions to be negotiated by Head of Valuation and Estates.
