V25-1324 : CENTRAL CONTROL CHARGING POLICY REVIEW

The report of the Director of Housing and Environmental Services examined the charging policy for private use of Central Control Services. The report presented changes that had occurred in the provision of Central Control Services in the market place and examined the charges applied by other Control Centres.

A potential problem of private customers of Central Control taking their business elsewhere was highlighted, whilst the report also looked at the effects of reducing charges to private customers and presented methods of reacting to the problems outlined.

RESOLVED

That for the interim period, pending the full review of Central Control, the enhanced service charge be deleted.
