V25-1323 : VOID PROPERTY REPORT
The report of the Director of Housing and Environmental Services outlined the position with regard to properties that became void between 20 October and 15 December 1997. The report also illustrated the improved management of the void property process to quickly identify problems and would be reported to members for information each Committee cycle. Members' attention was brought to the situation with Transco requiring eight week's notice for any gas installation. This could be negated in summer by the use of an immersion heater, but remained a problem in winter months. RESOLVED
