V25-1283 : REVENUE BUDGET 1998/99

The report of the Director of Central Services detailed the revised 1997/98 budget, the draft forward budget for 1998/99, and the fees and charges for 1998/99.

The 1997/98 revised budget showed an increase of £99k over the original budget, although £66k was covered by supplementary estimates. The 1998/99 budget showed an increase of £10k on the 1997/98 original budget.

RESOLVED

1. That the revised 1997/98 budget for the Planning and Transportation Committee's services be approved.

2. That the draft 1998/99 budget for the Planning and Transportation Committee be approved for adoption by Policy and Resources Committee, subject to:

(a) Grant to Suffolk Preservation Society £200
(b) Grant to Suffolk Historic Churches Trust £2,000
(c) Suffolk Farming and Wildlife Group £500

3. That the fees and charges for services under the direction of the Planning and Transportation Committee for 1998/99 be increased as set out in the appendix to the minutes.
