V25-1277 : W881/1 - BARSHAM VILLAGE HALL, BARSHAM

Application for an extension to the hall and provision of toilet facilities.

The recommendation of the Director of Planning and Building Control was for approval, subject to design and parking shortfall improvements. The Parish Council had no objections.

Members had concerns with both the original and revised schemes, as the proposals gave the appearance of two separate buildings linked by the flat roofed section. Officers were asked to relay thoughts to the applicant with the hopes of a scheme with a more appropriate and sympathetic appearance.

RESOLVED

That planning permission be refused to application W881/1.
