V25-1260 : REVIEW OF CEMETERY AND BURIAL CHARGES
The report of the Director of Community Services reviewed the cemetery and burial charge for 1998/99. Three alternative levels of charge/income were provided for consideration. One level was based on increases in line with inflation, the other two alternative levels incorporated the requirements of the recent PBB exercise. Members felt that an above-inflation increase would bring Waveney's cemetery and burial charges move into line with the other local authorities in the area. RESOLVED
That the charges for burials and associated activities for 1998/99 be increased as set out appendix B to the minutes.
