V25-1207 : LAND TO THE REAR OF 243-251 RAGLAN STREET, LOWESTOFT

The Director of Planning and Building Control reported that complaints had been received regarding the untidy condition of land to the rear of 243-251 Raglan Street, Lowestoft. The land lay between the rear access path to these properties and a row of residents garages.

Various items including an old fridge, bicycle and bed had been dumped and the land was clearly detrimental to the amenity of the area.

RESOLVED

That the Chief Executive be authorised to serve an Untidy Land Notice under Section 215 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 on the owners of land to the rear of 243-251 Raglan Street, Lowestoft requiring the land to be cleared of all dumped material.
