V25-1206 : W563/11 - LOWESTOFT RAILWAY BOWLS AND SOCIAL CLUB, CARLTON ROAD, LOW

At minute V25-807 the Sub-Committee requested the Secretary of State to relieve the Council of jurisdiction in the above application and to determine the issue on its behalf.

The Government Office of the Eastern Region had responded that they would not feel justified in recommending the Secretary of State's intervention in the determination of the application but confirming that the Council's concerns were valid. The Government Office recommended that the full Council should make the decision with all the information in front of members. A report would therefore be made to the Council meeting to be held on 18 December 1997.

RESOLVED

That the report of the Director of Planning and Building Control concerning application W563/11 be received.
