V25-1192 : TOURISM IN COMMUNITY SERVICES

The Director of Community Services reported on the integration of Tourism and Leisure within the Community Services Department, further to the principle of transferring the Strategic Tourism function from the Chief Executive's Department being agreed at minute 1185.

It was resolved that the Leisure Division and its Head of Service be renamed the Tourism and Leisure Services Division/Head of Service with a structure implemented on 1 January 1998 as illustrated in the report of the Director of Community Services. (Para. 1).

The Meeting was concluded at 9.30pm
