V25-1093 : 39 HOMEFIELD AVENUE, LOWESTOFT - PROPOSED BUNGALOW

The Sub-Committee were reminded that 39 Homefield Avenue was a corner plot in the ownership of Suffolk Heritage Housing Association.

The side garden, which was not let as part of the tenancy, was large enough for the construction of a two bedroomed bungalow to wheelchair standard. The development would however require part of the verge in Council ownership to be transferred to Suffolk Heritage. The Council would have full nomination rights to the bungalow.

RESOLVED

That the area of land adjacent to 39 Homefield Avenue, Lowestoft, shown hatched on the plan presented to Committee, be transferred to the Suffolk Heritage Housing Association at nil value.
