V25-1090 : CONTRACTOR PERFORMANCE - RESPONSIVE REPAIRS

The Sub-Committee considered the report of the Director of Housing and Environmental Services. The Director pointed out anomalies in the present system of recording, in that if a job in Priority B requiring completion in two working days, needed parts to be ordered, it was seldom likely that the target would be met.

After consultation, the Director of Waveney Contract Services had devised a more reflective method of recording which gave a truer picture of performance.

RESOLVED

That a more appropriate system of recording for Responsive Maintenance be introduced, and its effect on the figures be reported to Sub-Committee early in 1998.
