V25-1084 : TENDER FOR THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR THE DISABLED TO COUNCIL D

The Director of Housing and Environmental Services reported that tenders had been invited from four approved contractors for the above. The contract was for 16 months commencing on 1 December 1997. The following contractors had submitted a percentage addition/subtraction basis against a priced schedule of rates:

Contractor A 2.5% subtraction
Contractor B 5% subtraction
Contractor C (Waveney Contract Services) 12.25% subtraction

RESOLVED

That Waveney Contract Services be awarded the contract for the provision of facilities for the disabled to Council dwellings.
