Application for two storey extension.

The Director of Planning and Building Control reported that this application was for a two storey extension at the rear and side of the dwelling. Both neighbours had objected on grounds of loss of daylight and privacy, and the Parish Council recommended approval subject to the neighbours' objections.

The Director considered that one neighbour would be likely to suffer loss of daylight and he recommended cutting back the extension by 1« metres. Members did not wish to delegate authority to the Director to approve an amended application, and asked that any future applications came back to the Sub-Committee.

RESOLVED

That consideration of application W7598/1 be deferred for negotiation of a reduced scheme.
