Application to construct four houses.

The Director of Planning and Building Control reported that an earlier application on this site for sheltered housing development consisting of 10 flats had been refused at minute V25-570 as members felt the scheme was inappropriate in this location and would lead to over-development of a constrained site. The present scheme was for two pairs of houses which, in terms of layout and appearance, did credit to this highly prominent site. Objections had been received concerning loss of daylight, but the recommendation of the Director was for approval. RESOLVED

That planning permission be granted to application W3077/6.
