V25-1001 : 14 CLEVELAND ROAD, LOWESTOFT

UNAUTHORISED USE AS SELF-CONTAINED FLATS

The Sub-Committee considered the report of the Director of Planning and Building Control which considered the unauthorised use of 14 Cleveland Road as 5 self-contained flats.

The use conflicted with the Council's Local Plan Policy H14 regarding saturation levels and Supplementary Planning Guidance regarding flat conversions as the accommodation was sub- standard. It was therefore considered that enforcement action should be taken.

RESOLVED

That the Chief Executive be authorised to serve an Enforcement Notice and to take all pursuant action to secure the cessation of the unauthorised use of 14 Cleveland Road, Lowestoft, as five self-contained flats.
